About Aishah
Aishah (born January 3, 1965) is a Malaysian World Music Singer. She was born in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia and gained prominence with her band Aishah and The Fan Club, releasing their first album “Sensation” in 1990 which produced three top-20 singles – “Sensation”, “Paradise” and “Call Me”. Following her departure from the band, Aishah pursued a successful solo career, releasing over a dozen albums.
Before her musical fame, she studied political science at Auckland University in New Zealand where she also formed her band. In 1996, she graduated with a master’s degree.
In addition to her music career, Aishah decided to venture into politics by joining the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party in 2011. This led to her serving as a member of parliament from 2011 to 2013.
Aishah has two sons: Armand Azhari (born in 1993) and Azhad Ahlami (born in 1998).
