Born on November 13, 1975, in Brooklyn, New York, she attended the High School of Performing Arts in New York and began studying acting after her tap dance teacher recognized her need for expression beyond tap dancing.
She made her first television appearance on the show NYPD in 2003 and has since appeared in various television shows. In addition to her work on screen, she has also done voice acting for different projects. Her film credits include If I Stay where she portrayed Nurse Ramirez.
