Rita Tushingham is an English actress born on March 14, 1942. She gained fame for her roles in various films such as A Taste of Honey and Girl With Green Eyes, earning her a Golden Globe Award. Before rising to stardom, she grew up in Hunt’s Cross and began her career by working backstage at the Liverpool Playhouse. In addition to her acting career, she served as a jury member at the Berlin International Film Festival in 1972. Tushingham has been married twice and has two daughters; one of whom survived breast cancer.
