Aimee-Ffion Edwards was born on November 21, 1987, in Newport, Wales. She is a TV actress known for her work on both stage and screen.
Edwards gained recognition for her role as Sketch in the series Skins before going on to star as Sophie in Detectorists and Esme in Peaky Blinders. She has also found success on stage, making her Broadway debut in the play Jerusalem in 2011.
Before fame, she made her acting debut in the 2002 short film Dwr Dwfn and later gained attention as a singer on the Welsh singing competition Wawffactor.
In addition to her screen work, Edwards lent her voice to the character Rachel Baker in the video game Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture (2015).
She hails from Newport where she played rugby and held the distinction of being the only girl on a boys’ team until age fourteen.
