Aguinaldo Silva (born June 7, 1943) is a Brazilian screenwriter best known for creating the popular telenovela series Imperio, Marido en Alquiler, and Senhora do Destino. He has also been credited as both a writer and the creator of O Setimo Guardiao. In 1984, he created the series Partido Alto and has been nominated for the Jabuti Award for Reporting and Documentary. Aguinaldo Silva was born in Carpina, Brazil to Joaquim Ferreira and Maria do Carmo Ferreira da Silva.
