MØ Feet
MØ, born Karen Marie Ørsted on August 13, 1988 in Odense, Denmark, is a popular Danish electropop vocalist and songwriter known for hits such as “Pilgrim” and “Don’t Wanna Dance.” Her debut album, No Mythologies to Follow, was released in 2014.
Early in her career, she formed a punk band with friend and musical collaborator Josefine Struckmann. The group released two extended play recordings before disbanding in 2012.
Her stage name, Mø, translates to maiden in Danish. She was born and raised in the city of Odense in Southern Denmark.
