Mingjue Helen Chen, born on January 23, 1987 in China, is a renowned animator known for her work as a visual development artist. She has contributed to major animated films such as Frankenweenie, Wreck-It Ralph, and the acclaimed Big Hero 6.

Chen’s career in animation began unexpectedly when she was offered her first job in animation after attending the CTN animation expo. In addition to her work in film, she has also contributed as an artist to well-known comic books including Batgirl and Marvel’s Sinister Silk.

She is married to fellow animator Ryan Lang.
