About Acacia Johnson
Acacia Johnson (born May 8, 1990) is a Norwegian photographer known for her work documenting expeditions and capturing the culture and natural landscapes of the Polar Regions. She has gained recognition for sharing her travel photography on Instagram, where she boasts over 160,000 followers.
Johnson graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design before relocating to Scandinavia to further her exploration and photography. In 2014, she received a Fulbright grant in Canada to pursue a project focused on Inuit relationships with the winter landscapes of Baffin Island. Her work has been featured in National Geographic, Proof Magazine, and included in permanent collections at prestigious institutions such as the Anchorage Museum and the Smithsonian Museum of American History.
