Matina Feet

Matina, also known as Matina Zara, is a Canadian rock singer and guitarist born on April 24, 1997. She first gained attention with her single “Run Away” in 2011 and followed up with her debut album “Whispers in the Night” the following year which received significant airplay on Canadian radio stations. Another one of her hit singles, “Kiss and Tell,” further propelled her into the spotlight.

Prior to her music career taking off, Matina grew up in Newmarket, Ontario where she was involved in volleyball as well as track and field during high school. Impressively, within just two years of picking up the guitar for the first time she began recording songs. Notable performances alongside musicians such as Anvil’s Chris Robertson and DJO’s Pete Swann have expanded her reputation even more.

Matina comes from a large family – she has three brothers and two sisters – adding another dimension to this rising star’s personal life.
