Mary Kom Feet

Mary Kom, born on March 1, 1983 in India, is a renowned boxer known as “Magnificent Mary”. She has had a successful career as a five-time World Amateur Boxing Champion and a four-time Asian Women’s Boxing Champion. In 2010, she received the Sahara Sports Award for Sportswoman of the Year.

Before pursuing boxing, Mary was inspired by Indian boxer Dingko Singh in 2000 and subsequently trained under coach M. Narjit Singh. Notably, she is the first female boxer to have medalled at all six major world championships.

Outside her athletic pursuits, Mary enjoys family life with her twin sons Rechungvar and Khupneivar alongside another son named Prince.
