Marija Ujevic Galetovic, born on October 20, 1933 in Zagreb, Croatia, is a prominent sculptor known for her human figures. In 1989, she was honored with the City of Zagreb Award for her outstanding work.

Before gaining recognition as a sculptor, Galetovic pursued studies at the Central School of Art and Design in London. Her dedication to art led her to become a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 1995.
