Margarita Alvarez, born on October 16, 1986 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a fashion designer known for her appearance on the 16th season of the Lifetime reality series Project Runway. Making it to the final four on the show, she gained over 30,000 followers on her personal Instagram account.

Alvarez began her career in fashion at a young age when she was hired as an intern by a fashion designer at just 15 years old. She later played a role in creating the United For Puerto Rico charity fashion show event.

She hails from Puerto Rico and has made significant contributions to both the fashion industry and charitable endeavors.
