Lupe Fuentes is a Colombian-born DJ and music producer known for her Latin-flavored house music. She was born on January 27, 1987, in Cali, Colombia. Growing up in impoverished conditions, she relied on charity and hand-me-downs from local churches.

Fuentes made her mark in the music industry with her bass-driven and dark sound. Her single “Drop The Beat” was slated for release on Todd Terry’s label In House in July of 2014. She made her debut with the track “So High,” released on Junior Sanchez’s Brobot Records.

She eventually relocated to Los Angeles and married singer Evan Seinfeld in 2011.
