Lucero, born on August 29, 1969, in Mexico City, Mexico, is a well-known World Music Singer. She is recognized in Latin America and Mexico as “La Novia De America,” and has achieved great success with over ten platinum-selling albums since her debut in 1982.

Lucero began her entertainment career at the age of ten on the children’s talent series Alegrias De Mediodia. In addition to her music career, she has also appeared in several telenovelas such as Lazos de Amor and Soy Tu Duena.

She was previously married to Manuel Mijares with whom she shares two children.
