Lisa Gerritsen, born on December 21, 1957, is a TV actress known for her roles as Bess Lindstrom in The Mary Tyler Moore Show and its spinoff Phyllis. She also had a recurring role as Lydia Monroe in My World and Welcome to It. Her television debut was in a 1968 episode of The Good Guys. In 1972, she voiced several characters in the animated series The Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan. Lisa Orszag was born in California and comes from a family with ties to early movie actors and screenwriters. Gerritsen married John Rustan with whom she has one son.
