Lanie Lane, born on February 11, 1987 in Sydney, Australia, is an Australian jazz and blues singer. Her debut album “To the Horses” achieved success by reaching the top 12 of the ARIA Albums Chart and was later recognized as Best Independent Blues and Roots Album. Prior to fame, Lane worked as a florist to support her music career. In 2010, her debut single became the theme song for the TV show Crownies.

In addition to her musical achievements, she released her second album “Night Shade” in 2014 and has had notable opening performances for artists such as Jack White and Hall & Oates. Lane grew up in Sydney with an older brother who helped teach her how to play guitar.
