Kathy Johnson, born on September 13, 1959 in Florida, is a former American artistic gymnast. She represented the United States at the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics, winning a silver and bronze medal.At the age of 12, Kathy was introduced to gymnastics and made her first National Championships appearance four years later. After retiring from gymnastics, she pursued a career in commentary and has provided gymnastic analysis for ABC and ESPN.Kathy is also known for her family life – she has two sons named Sean and Cary with actor Brian Patrick Clarke.
