Rosa Acosta, born on April 30, 1984 in the Dominican Republic, is a well-known dancer, fitness personality, and model. Acosta gained recognition after being named XXL magazine’s Eye Candy of the Year in 2009 and went on to receive further accolades such as Model of the Year and Cover Model of the Year by the Urban Model Awards in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
Prior to her modeling career, she made significant strides as a ballet dancer, becoming the youngest soloist at Ballet Nacional Dominicano in 2002. Her passion for dance roots back to her early years when she began training in classical ballet at just four years old.
