Kai, born on March 17, 1990 in Toronto, Canada, is a Canadian pop singer-songwriter. She gained recognition after being featured on tracks such as Flume’s “Never Be Like You” and Jack Ü’s “Mind.” As a solo artist, she has garnered attention for her song “I Choose Me.”Before rising to fame, Kai grew up in Ontario and made her mark in 2012 by collaborating with the dubstep group Adventure Club for their track “Need Your Heart.”In addition to her music career, she was nominated for an Independent Music Award for Best Song in the Folk/Singer-Songwriter category for “I Choose Me.”Born Alessia De Gasperis Brigante, Kai continues to captivate audiences with her musical talent.
