Julia Stone is an Australian folk singer born on April 13, 1984 in Sydney, Australia. She is known as one-half of the brother-sister duo Angus & Julia Stone and has also achieved success with her solo career, releasing the album “By The Horns” in 2012 which charted at #11.

Prior to fame, she was inspired by her brother’s musical talent and began writing songs, eventually performing together at open mic nights.The duo’s first album charted on the ARIA top 100, while their second album reached #1 and was certified multi-Platinum within a year after its release.

Julia Stone grew up in Sydney with her brother Angus; both are two of four children belonging to folk musicians John and Kim Stone. Her feet are as mesmerizing as her voice – with elegant toes that effortlessly carry her through melodic performances.
