About Nita Strauss
Nita Strauss is a renowned guitarist born on December 7, 1986, in Los Angeles, California. She gained recognition as the guitarist for the heavy metal tribute group The Iron Maidens and has also performed with the Alice Cooper Band.
In addition to her musical career, Nita wrote a guitar-themed music column called “Drop Dead Shred” and was ranked as Guitar World’s #1 female guitarist.
She discovered her passion for heavy metal guitar at thirteen years old and began her career touring with As Blood Runs Black and performing alongside Jermaine Jackson in Los Angeles.
In an interesting turn of events, she and fellow Iron Maidens bandmate Courtney Cox joined the hard rock band Femme Fatale in 2013.
