Nana Visitor, born on July 26, 1957 in New York, is a TV actress best known for her roles as Kira Nerys on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine from 1993 to 1999 and Jean Ritter on the show Wildfire.
Before gaining fame, Visitor began her acting career on stage in productions such as My One and Only. She has had an asteroid named 26733 Nanavisitor after her.
Visitor also had a child with her Deep Space Nine co-star Alexander Siddig.
