Elva Josephson, born on April 17, 1973 in the United States, is a movie actress best known for her role as young Emmeline in the 1980 film Blue Lagoon. In this film, actress Brooke Shields played the teenage version of her character. Additionally she appeared in films such as A Little Sex and Author! Author!

Prior to her rise to fame, Josephson gained attention after appearing in a well-known 1980 Hallmark television commercial where she portrayed a piano student who clandestinely placed a greeting card within the sheet music of her elderly music teacher. Josephson adopted an alternate screen name – Elva Leff. She also was casted in the 1984 mini-series George Washington which centered around President George Washington’s life. Josephson hails from the United States.
