Ellen Cleghorne is an American comedian born on November 29, 1965, in Brooklyn, New York. She rose to fame as a cast member of the popular sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live from 1991 to 1995. Before her television success, she honed her comedic skills performing at various New York City comedy clubs. Cleghorne’s talent has been recognized beyond television, as she had a series of comedy skits featured on Sirius XM Radio’s Raw Dog Comedy channel. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York., Cleghorne comes from a family rooted in the city.
