Eliana Maria Piva de Albuquerque Tranchesi was born on November 24, 1955 in Brazil. She is a prominent entrepreneur best known as the owner of the fashion house Daslu, credited with bringing various international fashion brands to Brazil.
Tranchesi began running Daslu in 2005 shortly after her mother’s death. Despite facing legal challenges, including arrest and conspiracy charges related to her company, she never spent more than two days in prison.
She was married to Bernardino, a doctor, and together they had three children.
