Effie, born on October 5, 1991 in London, England, is a British pop singer who gained attention with her debut single “Into Yellow” in 2009. Her first EP of original material titled Conquer was released in 2014. She joined the E Minor choir at the age of eleven and later earned a spot opening for R&B singer Lemar after her rendition of Aretha Franklin’s “Respect.” Effie’s father is drummer John Hatchman.
