Defne Gunturkun, born on October 15th, 1980 in Turkey, is an Instagram star known for her work as an embroidery artist and freelance textile designer. She has garnered a following of over 150,000 on her self-titled Instagram account where she showcases her creative endeavors.

Prior to gaining fame on social media, Gunturkun completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in Istanbul before furthering her education at the Accademia Di Belle Arti Di Bologna in Bologna, Italy.

In 2016, she took the entrepreneurial leap and launched a small business to sell her intricately crafted embroideries.
