Rose Namajunas, born on June 29, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is an American MMA fighter known for her impressive career in the UFC. She gained recognition by joining the organization as part of the 20th season of The Ultimate Fighter, where she competed to become the promotion’s first strawweight champion.
Before gaining fame in the UFC, Namajunas grew up training in taekwondo, karate, and jiu-jitsu before working with renowned coach Duke Roufus. In 2013, she made her professional debut with Invicta FC. Prior to turning pro, Namajunas had also fought as an amateur from 2010 to 2013 and received a perfect record of 4-0.
